  This place is running a scam. Renters beware. The scam is called "Trash Valet" -they force you into it when you sign your contract and claim that you have the choice not to sign the contract and not live here. Some choice. The scam costs the renter $25.00 per month -They don't include that in your rent price, so it comes in the form of a big whammy when you get your rent/utility bill. What is the service that "Trash Valet" provides you might ask? They hire some poor collge kid, (pay him dirt), to pick up trash from your door step and take it to the trash bin. Which a renter could do themselves for free. Some renters even have parking right next to the trash bin and could toss their trash on their way to their car -but still are scammed $25.00 per month! The "Trash Valet" workers spill garbage all over and leave it. There is a disgusting grease stain on the landing in front of our apartments, that has been there for weeks. The tenant is charged $50.00 bucks if trash or the trash recepticle is left out the into the next day. So you can get a double whammy. To avoid that issue, I never use the "service". There is no freedom of choice to opt out of the "Trash Valet" scam. Tenants are still charged $25.00 per month even if you refuse to use the "service" Boo! "Trash Valet" Boo! Courtney Village! Stop forcing people to pay for your SCAM. If a person wants it, by all means let them sign up for it. But tenants deserve to have the freedom of choice not to participate & be able to opt out of your SCAM & we can take our own trash out.
