  The staff are great, the rooms are clean, the building is old but evidence of a recent renovation makes the place look and feel good. Good/safe location. Pool area is nice. Decent prices at the restaurant!
  
  I’m particular about the comfort of the bed- this bed is a classic (cheap) spring bed with lots of lateral movement. Not my favorite and I woke up stiff. The pillow options make up for it, somewhat. The liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers mounted on the shower wall are tacky, and conjures images of a locker room or community shower. A slight stain near the drain slid the image toward ‘prison’. I have an adjoining room with some other guest, and I heard all about their lives and existence until I fell asleep to a monologue about a friend of a friend... or some such thing.
  
  This is a decent place, and I’d stay again in a pinch. I’d give it 4-stars if the bed was more comfortable.

  Plenty of parking! Nice outdoor space next to the pool.
  
  If I understand correctly, there is only one entrance that is accessible to guests after 10pm - no matter what - and if the staff is consistent, you won't know this until you walk all the way back around to the front desk after you try a couple entrances after 10pm. No signage, no heads up.
  
  One of the emergency exits (outdoor, exiting to pool area) had a significant amount of water coming from the ceiling/sprinkler, also had collected on the floor into a sizeable puddle. Parts of the stucco ceiling were missing due to this.
